Regarding Jadon Sancho’s future with Manchester United, Erik ten Hag has made it clear that nothing has changed.
After being banished by Ten Hag for accusing the Dutchman of lying about his exclusion from the matchday squad against Arsenal in September, Sancho returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.
The 24-year-old winger earned United a “significant” bonus midweek when he started Dortmund’s Champions League quarterfinal triumph over Atletico Madrid. If Dortmund advances to the final, United will benefit even more.
According to the Man Utd manager, Sancho’s ability is not the issue. “Of course, I follow international football and follow the players on loan at other clubs.
“It was a fantastic game – Dortmund against Atletico Madrid. Great performance from Dortmund and for Jadon it’s good news, he made his contribution to the result for Dortmund.
“No (nothing has changed about his future), but we know Jadon Sancho is a fantastic football player, so that is not a surprise for us. That is not the issue.”
