Following the death of former governor Akeredolu of Ondo state, and also swearing in of his deputy governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa as governor of the state, Dr Olaide Adelami, who is the deputy clerk of the National Assembly has taken the Oath of office as the new deputy governor.
His name was sent to the states’ house of assembly last week tuesday after being nominated by the governor. He got confirmed by the parliament.
At a ceremony held at the International Culture and Event Centre, Akure on Thursday, the new deputy governor was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Olusegun Odusola.
