Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently revealed that one of his pastors was arrested abroad for addressing a gathering with the phrase “Ladies and Gentlemen.”
The pastor was detained for discrimination, as the phrase was deemed to exclude non-binary and other gender identities.
Pastor Adeboye shared this incident during the church’s monthly thanksgiving service at the Throne of Grace in Lagos State, emphasizing the need for vigilance and commitment among Christians.
He also expressed concern about the decline in moral values globally, viewing such incidents as signs of the end times.
