Sèyí Mákindé, Governor of Oyo State has declared Monday 8th July 2024 as work free day to commemorate and celebrate the new Islamic Calendar year (Hijrah 1446).
The Secretary to the state government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo made this known in a statement on Thursday.
The statement, on behalf of the governor enjoined all residents to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of the state and the country in general.
