In honor of the esteemed Prof. Isaac Olaolu Akinyele, the committee in charge is proud to announce the establishment of the Isaac Olaolu Akinyele 2024 Memorial Scholarship for Nigerian Students. This scholarship aims to provide support to indigent students pursuing studies in the fields of nutrition or agriculture at public universities in Nigeria.
Prof. Akinyele’s journey from a diligent student to becoming a first-generation university graduate, alongside his siblings, serves as a testament to the transformative power of education. As a staunch advocate for education, he dedicated his life to assisting as many individuals as possible. Recognizing the integral relationship between nutrition and agriculture in sustainable development, this scholarship seeks to honor his legacy by supporting deserving students in these disciplines.
Benefits:
The “Years Me Memorial Scholarship Awards” holds a total value of N150,000, which will be distributed among 10 deserving scholars.
In addition to financial assistance, recipients will have the opportunity to showcase their dedication to the fields of nutrition and agriculture.

Requirements:
- Open to Nigerian citizens enrolled in federal or state-owned universities in Nigeria.
- Must be studying Nutrition or Agriculture.
- Currently in the second or third year of full-time undergraduate study.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system.
