Famous British singer Jorja Smith has described her experience working with Nigerian star, Burna Boy, as “sickening.”
She said it is sick because the ‘African Giant’ crooner doesn’t write his songs.According to her, Burna Boy only freestyles in the studio “until it made sense.”. Quoting her:
“Working with Burna Boy is sick. He was just freestyling whatever was coming to him over and over again until it made sense,” Afrobeats Villa quoted Smith as saying in a recent interview.
It’s important however to note that the popular singer Jorja Smith and Burna Boy have previously collaborated on her hit song, ‘Be Honest’ and ‘Gum Body’ off the Nigerian singer’s 2019 album, ‘African Giant.’ Jorja Alice Smith is an English singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Walsall, West Midlands, she has been writing songs since the age of 11. In 2012, Smith’s friend uploaded her cover of Labrinth’s “Earthquake” to YouTube, which led to her discovery by record producer Guy Moot.
