Afrobeats star Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has shared his admiration for fellow artist Wizkid and their recent collaboration.
Asake revealed that Wizkid, a Grammy-winning musician, has been a major influence on his career.
This revelation comes alongside the release of Asake’s much-anticipated third studio album, Lungu Boy, which includes the standout track “MMS” featuring Wizkid.
Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, Asake said, “Wizkid has always been one of my musical inspirations. As a young artist in Lagos, I was waiting for the right opportunity, and when it came, I knew it was perfect.”
He explained that “MMS” stands for “Mr Money Sound,” which reflects his music journey.
