Afrobeats artist Fireboy DML revealed that he had a memorable encounter with American music queen Madonna.
While discussing his ascent to prominence in an interview with Billboard, the singer made the shocking revelation. The vocalist of La Isla Bonita’s admirer, Fireboy, emphasized that he had a great time on the occasion.
“I’m not going to say everything but I went on a date with Madonna and I would honestly say that it was the most memorable date I’ve been on,” he remarked with a wide grin.
The pop diva was called “weird and funny” by the music icon, who also professed his love for her. That is among my career’s high points. Being on a song with Madonna, the pop queen, is truly something to be proud of, he remarked.
Social media was buzzing in February 2022 with rumors of a partnership after Fireboy and the iconic Madonna were spotted together in pictures wearing dark colored clothing. They released a cover of Madonna’s old song, Frozen, the very next month. The original song, which is taken from Madonna’s Ray of Light album, was released in 1998.
Fireboy told the story of how their relationship started, saying the American celebrity was the one who got in touch with him.
“She sent me a DM on Instagram and told me that she was a fan and that she loved the most unlikely song on my debut album,” he claimed.
