The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has issued a fresh 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to resolve unresolved issues.
ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, made this announcement in a statement on Wednesday, expressing frustration over the government’s lack of commitment and delay tactics.
The ultimatum, which begins on Monday, September 23, 2024, follows an earlier 21-day notice, as ASUU urges President Bola Tinubu’s administration to address all lingering matters.
Osodeke warned that failure to meet the union’s demands within this new timeframe could result in industrial action, placing the responsibility for any potential crisis on the government.
