The Naira remained unchanged, at the close of trading, at the official and parallel markets.
The occurrence, a rare one was confirmed on the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEX) window when the naira closed on Tuesday at ₦1,339.33/$1, the same as Monday’s closing rate.
Naira maintained the feat, remaining unchanged at the parallel market by closing at ₦1520/$.
However, the volume of transactions also saw a major rise, with daily turnover jumping by 81.58 percent to $328.32 million on Tuesday, up from $180.80 million on Monday.
Additionally, the highest spot rate noted on Tuesday was ₦1,506, while the lowest spot rate recorded was ₦1,150.
