The naira, on Tuesday, weakened further against the dollar in the foreign exchange market.
According to FMDQ data, the naira dropped to N1,537.03 per dollar, down from N1,536.58 on Monday, marking a marginal decline of N0.45 per dollar.
Meanwhile, the black market saw the naira remain stable on Tuesday, closing at N1,665 per dollar, the same rate as on Monday.
Over the past two days, the naira has depreciated by N2.65 against the dollar in the official FX market, while maintaining relative stability in the parallel market.
