Nigerian workers have shut down Electricity and Water supply to the two buildings housing the Senate and the House of Representatives.
According to a Daily Trust report, other facilities in the National Assembly complex are also affected.
This is sequel to the closure of the National Assembly after members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) pledged total compliance with the indefinite strike declared by organised labour.
The entrance and exit gates of the assembly complex have also been blocked by two buses by PASAN.
