Following a private vacation to France, President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abuja.
At 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, the president landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport.
A delegation headed by Sen. George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, welcomed him.Nyesom Wike, the minister of the F.C.T., Femi Gbajabiamila, the president’s chief of staff, and other government representatives were also present to greet him.
Recall that on Wednesday, January 24, President Tinubu visited France.
President Tinubu’s visit to France was his second since taking office in May 2023.
He returns to find states reeling from protests over soaring food and living expenses, an increase in kidnappings for ransom, and collapsing local currency, all while the much-promised student loan program continues to fall short of the January target he set last October.
