Dry fruits are a type of fruit whose water content has been completely removed totally, either through a natural process like sun-drying or a mechanical process like the use of dehydrators. Examples are dates, raisins, almonds, walnuts and so on. These types of fruits still retain their nutrients content just the same as when they were fresh and what's more, they can be stored for long time without spoiling.
