Desert Tortoise
This animal is native to desert regions in northwestern Mexico and in the southwestern portions of the United states. During the hot weather this animal spends a lot of time in burrows and within rock shelters in order to keep its body temperature well regulated.

Majorly found in the areas of north and south America, this animal lives in nest burrows that they dig by themselves or the ones dug by other animals such as ground squirrels.

Chinese Pangolin
Typically found in the northern parts of southeast Asia and Indian Subcontinent, this animal with its quiet large fur dig long burrows which it lives in and also uses as a means to hunt termites and ants which it majorly feeds on.

Nine-Banded Armadillo
This nocturnal animal is found in North, South and Central America. This animal is an extensive burrower and with the help of the elongated claws in their middle toe and forefoot, it is able to dig long burrows which it lives in.
