TikTok has announced that it is restoring its services in the United States after a brief shutdown.
The video-sharing app went dark on Saturday evening due to a Supreme Court ruling that upheld a law requiring its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, to divest from TikTok or face a nationwide ban.
However, following assurances from President-elect Donald Trump that service providers would face no penalties, TikTok has resumed operations.
