Samsung Galaxy S24 Specs Leak: Here’s What’s on the Horizon

Rumors and leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 suggest that while the upcoming phone might not undergo significant external design changes compared to its predecessor, it’s anticipated to receive a substantial specs upgrade.

Reports indicate that the external appearance of both the standard and Plus models of the Galaxy S24 might remain largely unchanged, apart from potential alterations such as titanium sides and a new array of colors. However, the focus seems to be on the internal improvements.

Given the emphasis on AI-centric features, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to pack a robust chipset to power these functionalities. The US and China variants might sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, while other regions could see the implementation of the Exynos 2400.

In terms of memory, leaks hint at 8GB RAM for the standard S24 model, whereas the S24 Plus might start at 12GB. Storage configurations may include 128GB and 256GB options for the standard S24, and 256GB and 512GB for the Plus variant, akin to the Galaxy S23 Plus.

A significant upgrade in battery capacity is projected for the Galaxy S24 Plus, rumored to house a 4,900mAh battery, a notable improvement over its predecessor. However, the standard S24 model might retain the same 3,900mAh capacity as its previous version.

Camera specifications for both S24 models are anticipated to mirror those of their S23 counterparts. Yet, advancements in on-device processing and computational photography are expected to enhance overall photo quality significantly.

While the spec enhancements might not appear groundbreaking, the real highlights of the Galaxy S24 series are anticipated to stem from Samsung’s integration of the ‘AI Phone’ concept. This could entail a suite of intelligent processing capabilities aimed at delivering superior performance, photography, and an overall smarter smartphone experience.
