Users who spent five months tapping to earn rewards expected substantial earnings but were shocked to receive as little as $1 to $4, with some reports of the highest earner making only $7 to $17.
Social media erupted as many disgruntled users reported getting as little as ₦2.75, accusing the project of misleading them. The campaign, which promised to transform lives, ended in disappointment, with the once-hopeful community expressing frustration and anger.
Hamster Kombat launched in March 2024, and its official coin went live on Thursday, with the team announcing its listing on Binance.
Despite trading at $0.008315 on CoinMarketCap, users feel let down by the campaign’s empty promises, leading to widespread backlash.
