Tottenham signs Solanke from Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur have secured the signing of Dominic Solanke for an initial fee of £55 million, with an additional £10 million in potential add-ons.

The 26-year-old striker has signed a contract with Spurs that runs until 2030.

Solanke, who has one cap for England, becomes Tottenham’s fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Yang Min-hyuk, Lucas Bergvall, and Archie Gray.

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou has been keen to bolster his attacking options after the departure of England captain Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last summer.

Solanke originally joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in 2019 for £19 million.

It’s reported that Liverpool holds a 20% sell-on clause on any profit Bournemouth makes from this transfer.

Solanke had a standout season in 2023-24, netting 21 goals in 42 appearances.
