Victor Osimhen

Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has hit back at former Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George over his comments on his commitment towards the national team.

Finidi stated that the striker, who missed both qualifying matches of the Super Eagles could still have managed to play the two matches.

The 25-year-old has now fired back at the former winger.

“I will post the pictures also and the screenshots I had when I spoke to Finidi George (after he was appointed) because you all believe that someone keeping quiet because he is a footballer, ogun kill anybody, any of you that believe (I didn’t want to play for Nigeria).”

“You can talk nonsense. I have lost respect I have for that man (Finidi), I have lost it all. I swear to God I have lost it now because why? I called him, told him to allow me come to the camp to be with the boys, I have all these recorded, to come talk to the boys,” Osimhen fumed.

“I asked Finidi George to allow me stay with the players in the camp, but Finidi asked me not to bother that I should stay with my family,” he reacted on Instagram.

“Now after two bad games, everybody is now blaming me.

“I know how many injuries I’ve played with for Nigeria and I played my heart out but after two bad games, everybody is attacking me.”

Finidi resigned from his position as Super Eagles head coach on Saturday
