Football Megastar, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, Elma Aveiro, has explained her brother’s tears after his penalty miss against Slovenia at Euro 2024 on Monday.
Ronaldo was visibly upset after failing to convert an extra-time first-half penalty against Slovenia in the Euro 2024 round of 16 match.
The 39-year-old had an opportunity to give Roberto Martinez’s team the lead, but goalkeeper Jan Oblak saved the penalty from the Al Nassr forward.
Elma Aveiro took to Instagram, explaining her brother’s tears after the match.
She wrote: “This scene was the moment he saw our lifelong mother on the giant screen.
“Do you know what it means? They don’t know. No one will ever know. Not everything is football, fame and money.”
