Nigeria’s Super Falcon goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been crowned the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year at the 2024 CAF Awards.
This marks her second consecutive win in this category, solidifying her reputation as one of the finest shot-stoppers in world football.
The award ceremony took place in Marrakech, Morocco, where Nnadozie was honored for her consistent, match-winning performances both at her club, Paris FC, and with the Super Falcons.
Her heroics in penalty shootouts during the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers earned her global acclaim.
Expressing her joy, Nnadozie said, “This is for every young girl who dares to dream. I am honored to represent Nigeria and Africa on this stage.
