The Ugandans put up a performance worthy of a semifinalist in the match, keeping the Falconets at bay until the Nigerians found their spark in the last 16 minutes of the encounter.
Olushola Shobowale was taken off for Okah Adaobi in the 74th minute and scored with her first touch of the match while Chiamaka Okwuchukwu scored the winning goal for Nigeria.
The victory sets up a final against the host nation Ghana, who defeated Senegal in the other semi-final tie.
