Manchester City midfielder Matheus Nunes was reportedly arrested on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone at a nightclub in Madrid.
The incident allegedly took place at La Riviera nightclub in the early hours of September 8, as reported by El Mundo and Dailymail.
Nunes, 26, is said to have taken the phone from a 58-year-old man who attempted to photograph him without consent in the club’s restroom.
In a moment of anger, Nunes allegedly confiscated the phone and refused to return it. The police were called to the scene, and Nunes was reportedly found with the phone and subsequently detained for questioning.
