Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has stated that Kevin De Bruyne’s contract expiring in June this year is not his concern. Speaking to the media on Friday, Guardiola emphasized that it is up to the club to decide whether to extend the Belgian midfielder’s deal.
De Bruyne was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia last summer but chose to stay at Manchester City. Currently, there have been no negotiations over fresh terms, and De Bruyne is free to speak with other clubs from this month.
Guardiola commented, “It’s up to the club. It’s not my business. It’s about how he’s going to perform until the end of the season, his age, and many things. I think the club has to think about it.”
