Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho has expressed that he has a lot to prove after leading Chelsea to a 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Sancho, who was on the scoresheet as Chelsea came from 2-0 down to win on Sunday, shared his gratitude towards the club and his determination to prove his critics wrong.
“From day one, they made me feel welcome at Chelsea. I know that I have a lot of people to prove wrong. I’ve been working very hard. Let me say thank you to the staff and the team for believing in me and giving me this opportunity,” Sancho told SuperSport TV.
Sancho joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United last summer after struggling to get regular playing time under former Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
