Barcelona have unveiled their new home strip for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
The new shirt was introduced with a video that features club legends such as Ronaldinho and Andres Iniesta alongside current stars including Gavi, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsi and Alexia Putellas.
The new kit pays homage to Barca’s first ever shirt which was also a half and half design all the way back in 1899.
“To celebrate the Club’s 125 years of history, the FC Barcelona jersey’s design for the 2024/25 season is inspired by the Club’s legacy, history and beginnings. Using the colours blue and maroon, present as a main element in the badge, a distinct, unique and symbolic design has been created that evokes the team’s identity throughout its history,” the club said.
Barcelona fans will get their first glimpse of the players in their new strip during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States. The Catalans are set to play against Manchester United, Real Madrid, and AC Milan in North America.
