Former Manchester United youth coach Jonathan Hill has expressed interest in the Super Eagles coaching position.
Although former international Augustine Eguavoen recently led the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) remains keen on appointing an expatriate coach for the team.
Hill, who recently stepped down as assistant coach at Rotherham United, has already submitted his application to the NFF for consideration.
“This is a role I very much fancy because of its demanding nature and the push to deliver top results,” Hill told Sports Boom.
“I’ve always known Nigerian players to be athletic, technical, and full of energy.
“There’s a great talent pool here, and I believe in nurturing young players who fit the team’s philosophy.”
