The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially introduced Eric Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
The unveiling ceremony took place on January 13, 2025, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Stadium in Abuja. Chelle, a former Mali international, has been tasked with reviving Nigeria’s faltering 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Chelle, who previously managed the Algerian club MC Oran, expressed his pride and honor at being appointed as the head coach of the Super Eagles.
He shared his admiration for Nigerian football and highlighted his vision for the team, emphasizing his goal-oriented approach.
