Chelsea have reached an agreement to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach.
Earlier today, Chelsea’s sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, traveled to Spain to discuss an agreement to bring Enzo Maresca to Stamford Bridge.
The deal is now completed with a contract valid until June 2029, a five-year agreement. It will also have an option to prolong it until June 2030.
The Italian’s release clause at the King Power Stadium is believed to be between £8 million and £10 million, and Chelsea are anticipated to cover it as the agreement has now been finalized.
