The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the final three-man shortlist for the prestigious CAF Player of the Year award.
The football governing body has shortlisted Nigerian stars Ademola Lookman and Victor Boniface, along with Moroccan midfielder Brahim Diaz, as finalists for Africa’s most prestigious football award.
Ademola Lookman had a standout season, contributing to Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League victory and earning their Player of the Year title. Boniface was crucial to Bayer Leverkusen’s success in the Bundesliga and other competitions.
Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz played was a beneficiary of Real Madrid’s triumphs in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Marrakesh.
