The Bercy Arena was filled with star-studded spectators as Simone Biles led the dominant U.S. women’s gymnastics team to Olympic victory on Tuesday night.

A-list celebrities Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, and Serena Williams were among those present at the Olympic venue to witness history in the making.

Olympic legends Spike Lee, Michael Phelps, and Nadia Comaneci were also in attendance, marking the U.S. women’s triumphant return to the top after relinquishing their title in Tokyo three years ago.

Williams, who recently carried the Olympic torch during the opening ceremony, sat alongside Paris Games chief Tony Estanguet. Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban were also present with their two daughters. When asked about her excitement for the competition, Kidman expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “So excited! So excited!”

Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, an NFL player with the Chicago Bears, made it to the French capital just in time for the women’s team final. He was granted leave from training camp to attend the momentous event. Biles’ mother and father, Nellie and Ron Biles, were also present, sitting alongside Owens.

As Biles finished her routine on the uneven bars, she was greeted with cheers and applause from the crowd. Michael Phelps, standing tall with his arms raised high, joined in the ovation for America’s star gymnast. He even captured the moment on his cellphone.

Spike Lee, resembling a devoted fan courtside at a New York Knicks game, leaped to his feet to show his support for Biles. The actor and movie director had a front-row seat above the vault runaway, sporting white-framed glasses and a USA basketball shirt.

Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise, and Jessica Chastain had also attended Biles’ Olympic comeback during the qualifying rounds on Sunday.

In the team final, the 27-year-old Biles competed in all four events. With her awe-inspiring performances, the American team scored a total of 171.296, comfortably surpassing their competitors from Italy and Brazil.
