Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on his 2024 U.S. presidential election victory.

In his statement shared via X, he expressed hopes for a strengthened strategic partnership focused on ending Russian aggression against Ukraine.
“Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on his impressive election victory!” Zelenskyy wrote, recalling a previous meeting in September where they discussed the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and strategies to end Russian aggression.

Zelenskyy added, “Ukraine, as one of Europe’s strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies.”
