The United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has officially launched its website on Thursday.
The newly established department, which aims to modernize federal technology and software to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity, was created by an executive order from President Donald Trump on January 20, 2025.
The website, accessible at doge.gov, is part of the administration’s broader agenda to reduce wasteful federal spending and eliminate excessive regulations.
In a statement on X, the agency led by billionaire Elon Musk said that details of its activities will be released on its website henceforth.
“X feed posts; consolidated government org chart—enormous manual effort consolidating 16,000+ offices; summary of the massive regulatory state, including the Unconstitutionality Index (ratio of rules written by unelected bureaucrats to laws passed by Congress),” DOGE statement on X partly reads.
