Queen Camilla will not participate in the upcoming Remembrance events due to a chest infection.
Buckingham Palace confirmed her absence from the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening and the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph on Sunday.
Although her condition hasn’t worsened, the Queen is cautious about minimizing any risk of passing on lingering infections. In her stead, the Princess of Wales will continue her return to royal duties and attend both events.
This news comes amid a challenging year for Prince William, who has described it as the hardest of his life due to his wife and father’s battles with cancer.
He expressed pride in their resilience but acknowledged the difficulties they’ve faced.
