This year is starting out to be a great year for Taylor Swift as she has been celebrating wins after wins, from winning the album of the year award at the Grammys for her “Midnights” album and now her boyfriend winning at the super bowl.
America’s sweetheart, Taylor Swift, is no stranger to the limelight, another moment of spotlight for her was in the recently concluded 2024 Super Bowl which took place on Monday. Coming straight from playing four straight nights at her “Eras Tour in Tokyo” she landed in the USA to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who is a Kansas City Chiefs, at the Super Bowl.
Arriving at the superbowl with some family members as well as her celebrity friends such as rapper Ice Spice, singer Lana Del Rey and actress Blake Lively, Taylor Swift can be spotted wearing an all black outfit with a red jacket , and a gold necklace that says 87, which is a tribute to Kelce’s jersey number.
Alongside Taylor Swift in the suite where she watched the game was Andrea and Scott Swift ( Taylor’s Parents) as well as Kelces’s family members- his brother Jason, his sister-in-law Kylie and his parents Ed and Donna Kelce.
Just right before the game, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were seen holding hands and swaying to Post Malone’s beautiful performance at the super bowl.
It was a long night for all Kansas City Chiefs fans as the game between them and the San Francisco 49ers for a championship ring was a tough one. As a matter of facts the game is the 7th longest game in the history of the NFL.
At the beginning of the game, the teams were tied at 19 as the game went into overtime, during this time Taylor Swift can be seen anxiously biting her nails, but in the final seconds the Chiefs made a game-winning touchdown, bringing the final score to 25-22. Also,Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs came up victorious in their Super Bowl battle against the San Francisco 49ers.
After this victory, Taylor Swift can be seen overwhelmed with joy, she alongside the people in the suite were she watched the game were engulfed in a group celebration, so also were all the people City Chiefs fans present at the stadium.
Immediately after the trophy presentation, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were seen sharing a long embrace and kiss on the field.
It can be recalled that during a podcast in July 2023 Travis Kelce made a comment that he attempted to give Taylor Swift his number during an “Eras Tour”. Although we do not have the full information of what happened behind, one thing led to the other and now they are Sweethearts!
Taylor Swift being an international sensation with a huge loyal fan base has been speculated to have added to the amount of interest taken in this year’s super bowl, reason being that everywhere she goes her fans follow and also a lot of Americans and the world at large are very interested in her hot new relationship with Kelce.
