Russia launched a drone strike on Kyiv early Wednesday morning, injuring at least three people and causing damage to buildings in two districts.
City officials reported explosions shortly after Ukraine’s air force warned of incoming drones.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that air defenses were actively repelling the attack, though two floors of a residential building were partially destroyed, and debris damaged another non-residential building.
This strike is part of Russia’s ongoing air assaults on Ukrainian towns and cities, now approaching three years of conflict.
