Police in Machakos are investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred during a church service at AIC Bomani Church in Machakos Township on Sunday.
Jones Muinde, the owner of the stolen Toyota Voxy, registration number KBN 870T, reported the incident after discovering his car missing from the parking lot after the service.
Muinde, speaking to The Star, explained that he was unsure whether the vehicle was broken into or if the thieves used a master key to access and steal it. The incident has been reported to Machakos Police Station, and authorities have launched an investigation.
Muinde has appealed to the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the car to the police.
