The death toll from an Israeli air strike targeting Hezbollah military commanders in Beirut’s southern suburbs has risen to 45, Lebanon’s health ministry announced on Sunday.

This update follows an earlier report of 37 casualties from the Friday attack.

The ministry noted that efforts to remove rubble are ongoing for the third consecutive day, and DNA sampling will be used to identify some of the victims.
