According to officials on Sunday, a roadside bomb explosion in Somalia that targeted a car transporting telecom technicians claimed the lives of at least six individuals.
The incident happened in the Garasbaley neighborhood, which is outside of Mogadishu, the capital.
In a statement, Hormud Telecom, the largest telecommunications operator in the country, said its workers were killed while traveling from their office in Garasbaley.
For several years, terror groups affiliated with Daesh and ISIS, as well as al-Shabaab, have posed the biggest challenges to Somalia’s security.
However, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
