One of the sons of the immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Bashir has accused Governor Uba Sani of incompetence and poor performance in office.
He was reacting to comments made earlier by Governor Sani regarding the past administration.
While addressing a town hall meeting, the governor had said he inherited a huge debt burden of $587m, ₦85bn and 115 contractual liabilities from the El-Rufai administration which is forcing his administration to service debts with their monthly FAAC Allocation.
“Despite the huge debt burden of 587 million Dollars, 85 billion Naira, and 115 Contractual Liabilities sadly inherited from the previous administration, we remain resolute in steering Kaduna State towards progress and sustainable development. We have conducted a thorough assessment of our situation and are sharpening our focus accordingly” Gov Sani had said.
However, Governor Sani has been accused of surrounding himself with “incompetent aides appointed for political patronage” in a series of posts via X by the young El-Rufai, son of the ex-Governor.
“These guys have realised that they are wholly incompetent and the only way to mask the nonsense is to deflect. From a Governor that is always sleeping in Abuja to a litany of incompetent aides that were only rewarded for foolish political reasons,” he wrote.
“FYI: He was the Senator from Kaduna who lobbied & approved the loans.
“One would think that from all the FAAC allocations these unserious clowns have changed to dollars, debt would be the least of their problems.
“The current administration in Kaduna is building a banquet hall for 7BN naira and is lamenting about debt left by the previous administration.”
