Zacchaeus Adangor, Rivers Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General has rejected his redeployment as Commissioner for Special Duties.
He further tendered his resignation from the state executive council.
Earlier, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers reshuffled his cabinet and redeployed Zacchaeus as the commissioner for Special Duties (Governor’s Office).
In the resignation letter, which was addressed to the Secretary to the Rivers State government, Zacchaeus rejected his new office.
He also accused the Governor of interfering with his assigned duties as the Attorney General of the state.
