Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Bola Tinubu, recently compared Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to former US President Donald Trump.
In a post on X.com, Ajayi stated that both figures use harsh language to critique the nations they seek to lead.
His comments followed the US presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, where Ajayi praised Harris for her debate performance, noting she skillfully exploited Trump’s weaknesses.
He also pointed out that while Harris made only one incorrect claim, Trump was fact-checked for 33 false statements during the 90-minute debate.
