The Peoples Democratic Party has won all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in the 30 local government areas of Osun State.
This was made known by the Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, Hashim Abioye, at a press conference on Saturday in Osogbo, the state capital.
The local government election in the state commenced as scheduled on Saturday morning despite the withdrawal of Labour Party, absence of the APC and threats from various quarters.
