Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Nigeria’s Minister of Defence has reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration’s determination to combat insurgency in all its entirety.
Abubakar stated this when he visited the military operations theatre in Katsina.
The Minister, who addressed Operation Hadarin Daji at the 213 Forward Operating Base, Katsina noted President Tinubu’s success in the area of security.
In a statement on the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation’s X account, Abubakar “urged the troops to continue the fight against insurgency and banditry, commending their sacrifices and commitment.
“Regarding the recent incident involving the killing of soldiers in Abia State, the Minister reassured the government’s determination to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent such incidents from happening again.
“‘Air Commodore G.I. Jibia, Commanding Air Component, 213 Forward Operation Hadarin Daji, appreciated the Minister’s visit, stating that it would boost troop morale.’
