Peter Obi, a Former Governor of Anambra State and the 2023 presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP), has dismissed rumours making waves that he is leaving the party, reaffirming his commitment to the peaceful resolution of crisis within the party.
He made this known on Sunday at an event marking his borehole donation to Pantami Sheep Market in Gombe State.
“I am for peace, I believe that we are one. We are one people and our concentration should be on peace and I believe we will resolve all issues,” Obi said when asked about the leadership squabble that has rocked the party.
Speaking further, he said is making visits to various states of the country to meet needs of people especially during the Ramadan fasting by Muslim faithful.
