The House of Representatives has lost yet another member, Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams.
He was aged 39.
Until his death on Tuesday morning after a brief illness, Adams was chairman, House Committee on Sports.
He represented Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency of Kaduna State.
Hon. Adams, a former general manager of Kada City FC and Remo Stars, was elected into the House of Representatives in 2023 on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).
With his background as a former athlete and sports administrator, he was appointed Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Sports.
This is coming barely a week after the passing of the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi.
