Ganduje: Kano APC sack Ward leaders over suspension

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano state working committee, has moved quickly to sack some Ward Party Leaders in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area who suspended the National Chairman of the Party, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

It was earlier reported that the former governor has been suspended by the party in his ward, but the state committee is having none of that, as it voided the suspension and sacked the executives.

Inusa Dawanau, APC Dawakin Tofa Local Government Chairman, told Newsmen that the orchestrators of Ganduje’s suspension were embroiled in anti-party activities.

Speaking, he said their records of meetings with the opposition has been exposed.

“We have evidence of meetings between the state government officials and those that suspended the National Chairman. The state working committee has agreed to sanction them for six months and they stand now suspended.”

Meanwhile, the state working committee of the Party said they have sanctioned the individuals for six months and a special investigations panel has been set up to verify the various allegations against them.
