The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the governorship election in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, the home area of Governor Godwin Obaseki.
According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APC candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo received 30,780 votes, while Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 24,938 votes.
