The people of Ondo State have elected Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as their Governor, pending an official declaration.
The incumbent governor, representing the APC, secured a victory with 366,781 votes, defeating PDP’s Agboola Ajayi who received 117,845 votes.
Nejo Adeyemi (ADC) placed third in the race with 4,138 votes, while Mimiko Olubansile Abbas (ZLP), the younger brother of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, pulled 2,692 votes.
